Reply with quote | #1 | Hey what's up all. So the Forum was gone for awhile, and now is back up and all the threads are gone- What a mess- I've been working on the website trying to get everything up to speed- and the Forum was just such a dead zone, possibly 'cause I wasn't really giving any love and everything was just so unorganized. Anyway, The forum is back in biz- add free, and I'm gonna make it priority to check in a couple of times everyday. It'll serve as a blog for me, a place to get feedback and answer questions from fans, make new friends and touch base with old ones, and just an overall chill place for action figure fans to haunt. I do ask that you temporarily refrain from uploading pics (except for your avatar and profile pic if your a new user). I should have everything straight in a few days though. Thanks, Ben (Team Boskoes) |

Reply with quote | #4 | Whats up Ben, I really want to work with you regarding our project we were talking about when I requested the Ghostbusters figures. Ben this is something I want with all my heart, body and soul. It is my dream, my wild ambition, I know as a team we can make it. Do not pursue another partner because there are too many corrupt people in this world. I am one of the rare honest few that wants "TEAM" victory. I realize success is something you and your wife do not lack and I myself have a job many people could only dream of having in these tough economic times. Cash is something nether of us is a stranger to but it is that passion of ours to put out our product and see it in the market setting that we must accomplish.
P.S. my father and I have a get away home in Pennsylvania 1 minute away from Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom so my heart shares a spot to your home state. |

Hey what's up! Ah, Dorny Park I use to live right next to it, before moving to Lewisburg- just about an 1 1/2 from Allentown. My mother in law still lives there though, so i'm still down that way pretty frequently. Yeah man, i'm all about what we talked about- just scambling for some free time. I got a few ideas in my head that i'd like to build on, but I guess first I'd like know what kinda stuff you like to draw. I've got this thing with robots, but I understand drawing robots is sort of a drawing nitch unto itself. I also have an idea that's somthing of a scifi- apocalyptic western. Let me know what you're most comfortable drawing. |

Reply with quote | #6 | The really coincidental thing is that I Wrote a complete western story that was Sci-fi I kind of get the feeling we are both ultra fans of Bravestarr and Spaghetti Westerns. Though I remember much of the story I sadly had a pipe that burst claiming many old valuable comic books of mine and my draft of the Western story I created. Any how onto what I like to draw. I love creating kooky animal-human hybrid teams kind of like the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or your Cowboys of Moo Mesa. I love that crazy psychedelic art style that Skateboard Smack ups, Mad balls and Weird balls embody. I love to draw your good Samaritan square jawed spandex clad in all his full glory super hero. I love ninjas and come on now what guy does not. I love monsters in particular classic like Dracula, The Mummy, Frankenstein and The Wolf Man just to name a few of the many variety of monsters. I discovered at a relatively late age of 12 that I had the ability to Draw characachers. I have never been a guy that draws Anime or Manga I am a good old fashioned American comic book art kind of guy. I like to pattern a bit of that image comics sketchy, weird and over the top kind of heroes such as Spawn or Super Patriot. |

Reply with quote | #8 | Hey what's up Al, sorry I've been busting my head on some Transformer customs. I did not get a chance to start on the Ghostbusters yet, other then hatching some ideas on what bodies I wanna use. I think we're still good for a before X-mas finisg though, things should start to get a little easier once I finally get a few of these big projects off my table.
Same deal on the Original stuff. Pecking away at a presentable story outline but haven't had enough time to really sink into it. Again things should free up a bit soon.
In the meantime you should totally post some of you artwork in the forum. I might give me some ideas.

Hey whats going on Ben, and how you been my brother. I wanted to tell you that I appreciate the fact that you remembered that I wanted the ghostbusters for December it gives me the sense that you really care about your customers. I want to send you oversome of my work so that you get a better feel of what I do. Ben I have a really good pal that draws some insane creatures with a lot of detail. His name is reginald and he is also very good at creating affects and coloring artwork with a computer. I am a much more well rounded overall artist in the sense that I draw various things. I would like to include him because I think we are going to need the efforts of a team. another thing that I wanted to discuss with you is that I to have many original characters that I would dream of creating a comic book of. I and my other friend Ross (another acceptional artist) have been trying to put together a japanese like comic called shonon jump. This is basically many comic books in one kind of like the little comics you see in the paper only with much more pages per story. This would allow the reader the oppurtunity to have several stories in one comic vs the traditional one shoot one deal. We could also cover various kinds of tales like western, Scifi etc... what do you think Ben we would not have a lot of competition in the states because this form of a comic is unique. Hope to hear from you again Ben, my best wishes to you and your wife. |

Yeah man. I like the idea of maybe a bi-monthly comic that contains maybe 3 or 4 mini sagas. It'd give us a everybody envolved a chance to get there visions out. I think collecting talent and helping hands for the project is a great idea- so if your friend is interested very cool. I'm goon try and have some of my ideas organized in the next week or so. We'll keep posting anything that has to do with our future comic toyline here and hopefully this thread will start to act as a bit of a roadmap for us. |

We're trying to squeeze in as much work as we can the rest of this month and through Nov. From Dec into the new year i'll have alot more free time to put into our project since the studio will be temporarly shut down until Danielle is up and running again. I'm really looking forward to getting started and seeing what we can come up with. |

Hay my brother Ben, I dont want you to stress yourself over The Ghostbusters. Why do you think I have still not shown you my concept art. Because I have been all over the place its been rediculous. Listen Ben, I want you to know that if it cant be in December I will wait I dont want Danielle to over work herself after having the baby. Ben I'll always be your faithful customer. A warm congartulations that you will soon be a dad and if you dont hit me up on this forum when the baby is born my heart will be full of melancholy and I will become crestfallen and I will disappear into deminsion x along Bebop and Rocksteady (well maby the second part is a little out there?) any how Ben let me know it would make me really happy for you. As for me I meet a beautiful girl named Dora and I am in a new relationship with her. Life is taking a good turn for all of us it seems. Unfortunatly, there were no prototypes in the Big Apple Comic Con it is the smaller version of the San Dieago Comic Con But I had a good time none the less. Hope to hear from you soon brother Ben, your friend and fan, Al a relic of another time. |
